Welcome!
I’m Corinne Welder Senechal, LAc, the practitioner behind Dragon Blossom Healing Arts.
I began my meditation and inner alchemy training at the same time that I started acupuncture school. Since then, I have integrated Chinese medicine with my direct experience of subtle bodies (energetic, emotional, and spiritual bodies).
The acupuncture style I practice is from Kiiko Matsumoto's integration of the work of Japanese masters, especially Master Nagano. Its features are 1) diagnosis through palpation which provides instant feedback for patient and practitioner through touch and 2) integration of classical Chinese texts with modern science-based medicine.
My Chinese herbal training has been with Dr. Heiner Fruehauf, one of the leading scholars of Chinese herbalism in the West. He revives ancient and lineage-based formulas and integrates them with modern medicine to create formulas for complex diseases that we are currently facing like Lyme, autoimmune, long-Covid, and infertility.
I have also trained with Claudia Citkovitz in treating perinatal complications including breech presentation, labor induction, intrauterine growth restriction, and postpartum depression. Claudia was the Director of the Acupuncture Program at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, training acupuncturists and treating inpatients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
With the Clairvision school, I have practiced meditation and inner alchemy techniques since 2009, through which I've trained my ability to see and work with the energetic, emotional, and spiritual parts of us, helping clients release long-standing patterns and beliefs and reconnect with deeper parts of themselves.
I take a thoughtful approach to your health and stay with you for the entire session. Each session includes acupuncture and energy healing, and may also include moxa, cupping, gua sha, herbal prescription, emotional pattern release, and lifestyle recommendations.
I practice holistic medicine that treats and honors your whole being using Japanese acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and energy healing.
People are multidimensional and my approach to medicine is as well.
When all dimensions of health are addressed,
healing that seemed impossible often becomes possible.
Outside of the clinic, I'm loving life with my husband, daughter, and kitten, hiking mountains, drinking Chinese tea, meditating, and being creative.
